To see a world in a grain of sand, And a heaven in a wild flower, Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, And eternity in an hour. William Blake, from "Auguries of Innocence"

Blue Moon
Yesterday, to escape from the blistering heat of the Texas Sun, we went to see The Smurfs with your friends Maddie, Gracie, and Aubrey for a matinee. In it, the theme of the Blue Moon, something exquisite and special that comes up in our lives, was the take-home message. We should not take the Blue Moon for granted when we see it shining in the sky, and driving home later, after swimming with your friends for quite a while, you and Papa indeed saw the full Blue Moon in the Texas Sky. We talked about the Rabbit in the Moon from Sanskrit, and you said that you saw the Woman in the Moon, which I thought was a good one too. And, this trip has definitely been a Blue Moon, one that we will both cherish in our memories.
